  • All registrations for players, coaches and managers must be entered and paid for online by the player/parent on the PlayFootball website.

  • An ID photo that meets normal passport photo guidelines must be uploaded during the online registration process.
  • All NEW members (players, coaches, managers, referees) are required to bring the registered member's original birth certificate, passport or driver's licence to the Club's Information Day. After this date, you will be contacted by the Club Registrar with an alternative method to provide your ID.

  • NEW players are required to purchase Club SOCKS + Club SHORTS prior to Round 1. Check the "NEXT DATE TO PURCHASE SOCK & SHORTS" button on our Home page to find out when we'll next be open.

Instructions

STEP ONE: Apply for the Active Kids Rebate Voucher (only Junior players)

  • Apply for the Active Kids Rebate voucher here if you want to use it to reduce your out-of-pocket expense (children enrolled in school up to Year 12 are eligible)
  • When you have received the Active Kids voucher number, you can then move to step 3 of the Registration Instructions.
PLEASE NOTE: The club is not able to accept Active Kids Rebate voucher after you have registered.

STEP TWO: Apply for a Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance (only Coaches & Managers with players under 18 years of age in team)

  • Apply for a Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance for a VOLUNTEER role. This is a 2-step process:

Apply for the WWCC here making sure you enter your full name exactly as per your driver’s licence.
Visit a Service NSW branch in person with your application number (received via email) for ID verification.
  • Your application will then be checked by the relevant government bodies, the outcome of the check is either a clearance to work with children or a bar against working with children.
PLEASE NOTE: Wait until you have received the Clearance email from Service NSW and then move onto step 3 of the Registration Instructions.

STEP THREE: Take photo for uploading during registration (All Players, Coaches, Managers and Volunteers)

  • Apply for a Working With Children Check. Take a new photo of the player/coach/manager/volunteer being registered and save it to the device you're using to register. The photo must meet normal passport photo guidelines as listed below: Children Check (WWCC) clearance for a VOLUNTEER role. This is a 2-step process:

Head & shoulder shot only in front of a white wall preferably.
    • No glasses or hats in photo
  • Your application will then be checked by the relevant government bodies, the outcome of the check is either a clearance to work with children or a bar against working with children.
PLEASE NOTE: Registrations will not be approved until an acceptable photo is uploaded.

STEP FOUR: Register online (All Players, Coaches, Managers and Volunteers)

  • Click here to register online at Play Football.
  • Choose the age group that you want the player to play in:

For example - if the player turns 7 in 2024 but you want them to play up 1 year in the 8s age group, you must select 08 Mixed. This is essential for the club to successfully complete the grading process for your child.

This applies to all players in every age group - e.g. a 17 year old who wishes to play in Seniors should register as All Age Mens / Ladies or PL or PYL.
  • Junior players – enter the Active Kids Rebate voucher number (if you’re using it with us).
  • Coaches & Managers (of junior players) – enter your WWCC Clearance number (not Application number).
  • Pay for your registration using Visa or MasterCard. Payment of the registration fee is mandatory.
PLEASE NOTE: Your registration will not be saved if payment is not made.

About NRSC

North Rocks Soccer Club was founded in 1965, making us the oldest community football club in the area. During our first 50 years we were affiliated with GDSFA, however in 2016 we became a proud foundation member of the newly sanctioned Hills Football Association.

We have a sky blue + white playing strip and utilise three playing fields to accommodate our huge playing numbers, those fields being our spiritual home at North Rocks Park with extra fields at Murray Farm Reserve and Hazel Ryan Reserve.

We welcome players of all skill levels and backgrounds, starting from 3 years old all the way to our Over 45's competition. Mixed teams play on Saturdays, female-only teams play on Friday nights or Sundays depending on age group.
